NA VC Update 04/02/07

StarFox_Fox.pngThe Cornerian army WANTS YOU! To help save the galaxy from the evil Andross and his Venomous forces.

That’s right everybody the long awaited Star Fox 64 hits the North American Virtual Console today. Star Fox 64 is touted as being the best in the Star Fox series and I would tend to agree despite the nostalgic feel of the “FX Chip” powered graphics of it’s SNES predecessor. But as they say on the Facts of Life “You take the good, your take the bad and there you have” the worst TMNT game made. Yup TMNT for the NES drops today as well. I’m still waiting for TMNT 2 a.k.a the Arcade game which Xbox360 owners got a few weeks ago. Still no Punch Out!! though…. damn!

Star Fox 64 (N64, 1000 Wii Points)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES, 500 Wii Points)
Dragon’s Curse (TG-16, 600 Wii points)

Ahh i loved SF64, i got metals on all levels on expert mode… its true the past Star fox games haven’t lived up to it’s name. Appearently their might be a new SF game for the Wii… perhaps it will play like the SF-SNES boss battle in Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

Of course i dont have a Wii - yet. So i cant download it, but if i want to play it i’ll just re-hook up my N64 and pop in the cartridge :P

  2. Brad Says:

SF64 was ttruly an awesome game. and a 4 way game would be fun. we should get some people together!
I don’t care what anyone says….TMNT for NES was a good game…it keeps the gritty feel of the 80’s comics before they went all kids show-y. I like the Frank Miller inspired feel of it all.
