Release date for Rock Band Wii

It’s been long rumored that it was coming and alluded to during a January projections meeting by EA officials. Now Rock Band Wii has a release date.

Look for the Wii Rock Band bundle June 22nd and will sell for $169.99. Non-bundled instruments will also be released the same day. The Wii version will feature 63 songs, including five bonus songs just for the Wii version.

    I got to tell my mom about this release. She keeps trying to convince my brother to let her buy it for his Playstation, but he was not interested even if it is a free game for him. Now that it is coming for Wii I will let her buy it for me so she (and I) can play it on the Wii.

    If you have the chance to get it on the Playstation 3, it is very worth getting it on that instead.

    I have the Xbox 360 version and can’t imagine not being able to play online and especially not being able to download new songs.
