Wii Fan Made Commercials

I was reading my daily blog rotation yesterday and found many sites had lists of their favourite video of the year. I found a post on gaming blog Joystiq and found a post about Tech E Blog’s list their “Top Five Fan Made Game Commercialsâ€?. Two of the entries were Wii themed and are pretty cool uses of the WiiMote.

The first video has a little bit of a story to it. YouTube user mathysvande Made this video as an entry for a contest to win a brand new Nintendo Wii. Took him only 80 hours too, he wasn’t an animator either he was just a regular dude who really really wanted a Wii. The art isn’t great but it’s still a well made video it kind of reminds me of an old cartoon called “Stickin* Aroundâ€?.

The second is a really cool take on the PS3 “Egg levitating Ad” There was always something about those PS3 ads that creped me out. PS3’s make babies cry? Yeah that’s the console I want in my living room. The video was made by Pablo J. Garcia for a contest on game website www.xataka.com. This one has a Duck hunt kind of feel. Man I can’t wait till that comes out on Virtual Console.
