Wiikend Wrap Up February 5th - 11th

by Tim

Another week has come and gone things got crazy on Monday with the insane response to Wii Rally’s VC Top 5. A lot of people agreed but many did not. Well Seanbaby says “The main reason nerds love best/worst lists is because they want to disagree with things.” Well disagree with this!

Earthbound was lame, hence why North America never saw more than one game in this series.

Goldeneye 64 will never come to the virtual console on account of Microsoft owning Rare, that and it’s really dated for an FPS.

Final Fantasy should have ended with the first one. Square was almost bankrupt for a reason.

I’ll use all the damn commas I want my site my rules HA!

  1. Jon Says:

MS owning Rare has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with GoldenEye not hitting the VC. Seeing as the game code and assests are all property of Nintendo.

The reason Goldeneye will not hit the VC is because the Bond liscence is currently in the hands of another company (Activision).

Felt the need to correct you Tim since we talked about this a few times over the last week.

  2. Brillulus Says:

BLASPHEMY! Mark my words, the next time I see you, you shall be stoned to death!

Well, at least good job on defending your opinion instead of cracking to the majority. It shows you’re not a marshmellow.

  3. Tim Says:

@ Jon ummm yeah that too.

  4. Matty3d Says:

Going off what Jason has told us. The Publisher is god, and Nintendo was the one to Publish Goldeneye, while Rare did develop it, i believe it solely belongs to nintendo, and they can do whatever they want with it

but as jon pointed out, unless Nintendo strikes some sorrta deal with Activision, we anit gonna see Goldeneye for the VC

and since when has ‘dated’ ever prevented anyone playing a game? as i have heared people still play Counter sritke, Half-life, and UT99, those a pretty dated too compared to the likes of Crysis.

you want a game that for sure wont come to the VC? Perfect Dark, Rare Published, Developed and owns the IP

  5. sonykiller Says:

first off, that’s some really, really, really bad hair. looks terrible on him. as for the arguing:

I never heard of earthbound so i don’t care.

Goldeneye 64 will come to the VC, politics about licensing Rare games is apparent since Diddy Kong Racing is already coming to the VC.

Final Fantasy should have ended with the first one since it is called Final Fantasy - but the Japanese don’t understand sh*t like that.

Use as many commas as you want but no one comma will make a person pause longer then the pause one takes after seeing your hair.

P.S. All insults are given with the greatest respect.

  6. Revy Says:

sonykiller, think before you post. It works out better that way, here’s a cloth to wipe that egg off your face.
